This role is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about product quality, patient safety, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment. 📍 Position Details Role: Quality Engineer III Location: Saint Paul, MN (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time Opportunity 🔹 Key Responsibilities ✅ Lead cross-functional investigations into product performance issues (NCEPs, CAPAs, and Field Actions). ✅ Apply root cause analysis techniques — DMAIC, 5 Whys, Cause & Effect, Is/Is Not. ✅ Partner across multiple sites to drive issue resolution and provide technical guidance. ✅ Represent Quality in global and divisional leadership forums. ✅ Ensure all documentation meets Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and regulatory requirements. ✅ Review and approve Quality System records for CAPA and nonconformance. ✅ Mentor engineers and teams on CAPA execution and continuous improvement. ✅ Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and quality excellence. 🔹 Minimum Qualifications 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. 💼 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering (Medical Device preferred). 📚 In-depth understanding of QSR, ISO 13485, and MDR. 🔍 Experience with CAPA, NCEP, and Field Action processes. 💻 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 🔹 Preferred Qualifications ⚙️ Background in active implantable medical devices. 📈 Skilled in statistical tools such as Minitab or Weibull++. 🧠 Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management abilities. 💬 Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to influence cross-functional teams. 🚀 Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and quality initiatives. 📧 Interested?
