🚀 We’re Hiring: Ruby Developer 📍 Location 📍 Adelaide, Australia Job Description We are seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer and/or Canvas LMS Specialist to join our team, contributing to a range of initiatives within the education technology space. This role is ideal for someone with strong Ruby development capability, experience with the Canvas LMS, or a combination of both. The position will support system integrations, platform enhancements, and operational improvements across our learning environment. Resource will be expected to participate in on-site days as required by the client. Key Skills Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain applications and services using Ruby • Support and extend integrations with the Canvas LMS platform • Work with APIs (REST/SOAP) to integrate Canvas with internal and external systems • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance learning platform functionality and user experience • Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing tools and integrations Key Skills & Experience • Experience developing with Ruby (e.g. Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks), or • Strong functional and technical experience administering or supporting Canvas LMS • Experience working with APIs and system integrations • Ability to analyse requirements and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions Desirable Experience working directly with the Canvas LMS platform (including APIs and data models) • Familiarity with education technology ecosystems and integrations • Experience with JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks • Understanding of cloud-based environments and deployment practices. 📩 Interested or know someone suitable?
