We’re working with a fast-growing B2B SaaS company with a global platform used by more companies across the UK, Europe, the US and APAC. They’re hiring a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join a strong backend engineering team and help shape the next stage of their platform. This means: • Building and improving product features in Ruby on Rails • Contributing to architecture and technical direction • Improving performance, maintainability and developer productivity • Working on platform modernisation across a well-established Rails product • Helping shape how AI tools are used sensibly within engineering workflows The company is actively exploring how AI can improve engineering productivity, quality and workflow. They have a tech lead who is passionate about these tools and are looking for a strong Rails developer who is already using tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex or similar, and knows where AI helps and where proper engineering judgement still matters. You’ll need strong Ruby on Rails experience, solid fundamentals, good SQL skills and confidence working on established codebases. Remote-first within the UK, with occasional company days in Brighton.
