If you've ever wanted to design and own the security stack instead of just inherit someone else's, keep reading.
Quick confession: for a while now, security at Sage has lived across a few of us, including me. That's a normal place for a startup to be, but we're past the point where it should stay that way.
That changes now. We're hiring a Senior Security Engineer at Sage, and I'm genuinely excited about it.
The scope is wide: AWS and GCP cloud hardening, vulnerability management, SOC 2, HIPAA, IoT/edge device security, AppSec, incident response. You'd have real ownership over the security program, which means shaping it, not just executing someone else's vision. You'd report to me, and I've been doing this work long enough to know exactly what I'm looking for.
We make fall detection and emergency response systems for older adults. The mission is real, the product is live in facilities, and the security work matters in ways that go beyond audit findings.
