Security Engineer

We're partnering with a fast-growing, well-funded AI company building the leading multi-agent framework used by developers and enterprises worldwide. They're moving fast, taking security seriously, and need a technically sharp engineer to help them do it at scale. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲: 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 This is not a strategy role. It's an execution role — hands-on, detail-oriented, and broad in scope. You'll work directly alongside the Head of Platform Security across the full security programme, doing real work in the tools every day. You'll own: • Compliance — evidence collection, control gap identification, risk register maintenance, GRC platform management, and audit support • Platform security — vulnerability triage, remediation tracking, and completing security questionnaires for prospective customers • Operational security — SIEM monitoring, alert triage, detection tuning, and incident response support • Programme support — access reviews, identity governance, security policies, runbooks, and playbook updates What they're looking for: • 3-5 years in security engineering, SecOps, or compliance engineering • Hands-on experience with a compliance audit cycle — evidence collection and control testing, not just awareness • SIEM experience — Wazuh, Splunk, Datadog Security, or equivalent • Exposure to AWS environments • Strong written communication — you can produce a clear risk summary without extensive direction • Experience across SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or similar frameworks is a plus • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+, OSCP) valued Who you are: You treat compliance as an operational discipline, not a documentation exercise. You escalate with context — not just "here's an alert" but "here's what it means and what I recommend." You're comfortable in a lean team where scope is broad and not everything is handed to you.
