We're Hiring  Greetings!  We are looking for Job Title: Senior Android Developer - Automotive Infotainment Location: Germany Experience: 5+ Years Job Type: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time  Mandatory skills : Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Jetpack Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with strong expertise in automotive infotainment systems, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Jetpack architecture. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize Android-based applications for in-vehicle systems while ensuring compliance with automotive standards and OEM requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance Android-based infotainment applications for automotive platforms. Implement and integrate Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and projection technologies as per OEM specifications. Develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin/Java and Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, etc.). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HMI, Connectivity, Middleware, System Integration, and Validation. Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness for embedded automotive hardware environments. Debug and resolve issues across the full software stack, including HAL, middleware, and application layers. Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ASIL, ASPICE, and ISO 26262 (where applicable). Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation. Support system integration, testing, and validation in collaboration with German OEM teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Android development. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java. Hands-on experience with Android Jetpack components and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture). Experience integrating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Solid understanding of Android framework, AOSP, and embedded systems. Experience with automotive communication protocols and infotainment systems is a strong plus. Strong debugging skills across multiple layers of the software stack. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with automotive OEMs (especially German OEMs). Knowledge of automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, ASIL).
