Senior Business Analyst with Finance

Experience: 12+ Years Work Type: C2C Visa: H1B, USC Roles & Responsibilities Collaborate with business leaders, finance teams, product owners, and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions to understand business needs. Translate complex business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications. Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and solution delivery. Work with financial systems including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, Cash Management, Risk & Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, and FP&A. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards such as SOX, IFRS, and Basel. Prepare and maintain key project documentation including BRD, FRD, Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flow Diagrams, and Data Mapping documents. Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and business process improvement initiatives. Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement gathering, development support, testing, and deployment. Support system implementations, integrations, and upgrades for financial platforms and enterprise applications. Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business stakeholders. Collaborate with data teams on data migration, validation, reconciliation, and financial data integrity checks. Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Support financial reporting and analytics using BI tools and dashboards. Required Skills Domain Skills Strong experience in Finance or Banking domain. Deep understanding of financial workflows, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Treasury, FP&A, Risk & Compliance, and Regulatory Reporting. Technical Skills ERP Systems: SAP FICO, Oracle Financials, Workday Financials. Data Tools: SQL, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau. Project Tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio. Documentation & Modeling: UML, BPMN, Process Flow Diagrams. Business Analysis Skills Requirement gathering and stakeholder management. Business process modeling and analysis. Gap analysis and impact analysis. SDLC and Agile methodology experience. Experience 12+ years of Business Analyst experience. Minimum 5–7 years of Finance/Banking domain experience. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
