Senior Data Engineers - Spain or Poland 🇪🇸 🇵🇱 We’re building production-grade data systems that support real scientific and operational decisions. Not prototypes. Not dashboards. Systems that people rely on every day. We’re looking for senior contractors who can take ownership of data pipelines end to end. What you’ll actually do · Design, build, and operate scalable, reliable data pipelines · Enforce data quality, performance, and compliance by default · Work directly with data scientists and modelers to turn requirements into production data models · Document architectures and decisions so systems are understandable and maintainable · Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders What we expect · 5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience · Real exposure to large-scale data systems in production · Strong instincts for data quality, performance tuning, and governance · Clear documentation habits · Direct, effective communication Nice to have · Experience in Life Sciences ·Exposure to pre-clinical or early research environments This is for engineers who prefer owning systems over maintaining pipelines no one trusts.
