Senior Open Source Data Engineer

We're hiring! Looking for a freelance engineer with senior experience in open-source data infrastructure (OLAP / Kubernetes / PostgreSQL) to work on Phoenix, an open-source social media analysis platform built by Build Up to support peacebuilding initiatives. In 2026, we’re migrating the managed Phoenix platform away from GCP and AWS to dedicated Swiss-hosted infrastructure. We’re looking for an experienced data and infrastructure engineer to help design, evaluate, and implement this transition.
