2026 is about stepping outside my comfort zone to grow my business and that starts right now! ✨ I’m excited to say I’m looking for a Freelance Short-Form Video Editor & Social Media Assistant 🤳 I’m building a personal brand around freelance writing, content marketing, and the business of writing online and I need a creative partner to bring it to life! 🪴 You’ll help me: 🎬 Edit Instagram Reels (hooks, subtitles, CTAs, trending audio) 📊 Create educational Carousels in Canva (tips, frameworks, checklists) 📅 Schedule posts + manage comments & light DMs Baseline posting cadence: 1 Reel, 1 Carousel, 1 Static/Tip post per week Audience mix: writers, clients, universal/engagement Workload: ~3 - 5 posts/week (~4 - 6 hours) 💰 $20–25 USD/hour (part-time, ongoing, flexible) Who I’m looking for: 1+ year editing Reels/TikToks Strong sense of pacing & audience retention Canva experience Clean, minimal, professional style Comfortable engaging publicly in comments Ability to work asynchronously Understanding of social media metrics + audience growth Not a fit if: ❌ You rely on flashy animations or cluttered visuals ❌ You need constant direction ❌ You only want to work on entertainment content 💡 Paid Test: Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid test edit (1 Reel or 1 Reel + 1 Carousel) to see if our styles align. This is a part-time, freelance collaboration, not full-time. Preference for North American candidates, but I am open to exploring potential options outside of Canada/U.S. pending alignment & fit.
