Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Strong SRE transformation initiatives, including defining roadmap, strategy, and adoption of SRE principles (SLI/SLO/SLA, error budgets, etc.)
Collaborate with global delivery teams across multiple time zones to ensure seamless operations and support
Drive automation across infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and incident management processes
Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems
Establish observability frameworks (monitoring, logging, tracing) to proactively identify and resolve issues
Define and enforce reliability standards, operational readiness, and production excellence practices
Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortem processes with a focus on continuous improvement
Work closely with DevOps, engineering, and product teams to embed reliability into the development lifecycle
Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD best practices
Mentor and guide junior engineers and global teams on SRE methodologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
8 - 10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Production Engineering roles
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, etc.)
Deep understanding of SRE principles: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Splunk)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
Solid understanding of networking, distributed systems, and system architecture
Experience managing production incidents in a global support model
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading large-scale SRE or DevOps transformations
Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks
Experience working with offshore/onshore global delivery models
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
