Technical Project Manager Job Summary The UEN Project Manager leads technology projects for the UEN Enterprise IT, working closely with Network Operations and Security, Instructional Media, and Professional Development, Internal Teams, vendors and external customers. This role translates project goals into actionable plans, facilitates collaboration across technical and non-technical teams, and ensures successful delivery of IT solutions that support UEN core values and services. The PM operates with independence, using standard project management approaches to organize work, manage stakeholders, and drive project execution in a fast-paced, complex environment. Technical Project Managers Establish project teams and provide overall direction for technical projects from initiation through to delivery. Perform project requirements, estimation, and budget management. Formulate project scope and delivery strategies and establish milestones/schedules. Maintain and report project status and monitor progress of all team members. Gather required data from end-users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications. Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Responsibilities Technical Project Managers Job Description: o Role Overview Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT projects from initiation through completion. Manage project status, risks, issues, timelines, and resource needs while aligning projects with business and technical objectives. Direct cross-functional teams to deliver new systems or enhance existing solutions using Agile methodologies. o Project Planning and Delivery Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and milestones. Track progress and ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with organizational goals. Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. o Technical Leadership Establish and lead project teams while overseeing technical initiatives through implementation. Gather and analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into actionable project plans. Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
