Translation Project Manager

We are looking for a Jr. Translation Project Manager (PM) based in Peru. This is a part-time remote position (6 hours per day). After completing the training period, there is the possibility of transitioning to a full-time schedule (8 hours per day). - Key Areas of Responsibility: Manage the entire life cycle of assigned #projects. Collaborate with #SalesRep to clarify project parameters. Select and assign translation teams and negotiate deadlines and rates with #vendors. Establish and maintain strong relationships with our international #clients and linguistic vendors. Manage project finances, including budgeting. Inform the supervisor of all issues affecting cost, quality, and turnaround time. Perform #QA checks to ensure quality and accuracy. - Qualifications and Experience: 1 year of experience (preferred). University Degree in Translation, Business, Communications, Computer Sciences, or related areas. Professional background as a translator. Excellent command of the #English language. Experience with Trados and Plunet (preferred). General knowledge and understanding of application systems (XML). Strong computer skills (MS Office/Windows). - Personal Attributes: High level of independence and accountability. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
