For most of my working life, I’ve been a freelance video editor and cinematographer. Some days paid well. Most days were unpredictable. Freelancing taught me skills, but it also taught me limits - inconsistent income, constant chasing, and zero leverage. Over time, I realised skill alone isn’t enough. Systems matter. Repeatable services matter. Long-term clients matter. That shift is what led to building Nivaasah — a focused visuals, storytelling & virtual tour startup. This isn’t a “made it big” story. I’m still building. But today the work is more consistent, more scalable, and far more meaningful than pure project-to-project freelancing ever was.
