Video Editor

We are currently hiring for a full-time, on-site Video Editor position based in Dubai. Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dubai for the role of Video Editor. The Video Editor will handle the end-to-end production of video content. Responsibilities include producing and editing videos, performing video color grading, creating motion graphics, and incorporating graphics. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and professional visual content that aligns with the brand's editorial standards and identity. Key Responsibilities: - Edit raw footage into engaging video content for news, features, interviews, social media, and special projects. - Collaborate with editorial, production, and design teams to understand project requirements and creative direction. - Select and organize footage, add graphics, animations, subtitles, and sound design to enhance storytelling. - Ensure all video content meets brand guidelines, editorial accuracy, and platform specifications. - Repurpose long-form content into short clips for social media (Instagram, X, YouTube Shorts). - Assist in occasional on-site shoots, including camera operation, lighting, and audio setup, when required. - Ensure timely delivery of all video materials, often working on multiple projects simultaneously. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably within a media publication, news outlet, or digital content platform. - Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other industry-standard editing tools. - Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual narrative structure. - Basic motion graphics and color correction/grading skills. - Familiarity with different video formats, aspect ratios, and social media requirements.
