As Received Senior Video Editor & Social Media Filmmaker About the job We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor & Social Media Filmmaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for filming, editing, and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our vision and objectives. This role requires both technical expertise and a strong creative eye to bring stories to life through compelling visuals and sound. Key Responsibilities: ✳Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various platforms (social media, website, campaigns, advertisements, events). ✳Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to conceptualize video ideas and storytelling approaches. ✳Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots. ✳Edit raw footage into polished, engaging final products using professional editing software. ✳Add music, graphics, motion design, subtitles, and other elements to enhance video quality. ✳Maintain brand consistency across all video content. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, editing techniques, and new technologies. ✳Manage video archives, ensuring proper organization and storage of digital assets. Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Qualifications & Skills: ✳Proven experience as a video editor and filmmaker (portfolio/reel required). ✳Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, etc.). ✳Strong knowledge of cinematography, lighting, and sound recording techniques. ✳Creative storytelling skills with attention to pacing, flow, and detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. ✳Strong organizational and time-management skills. Familiarity with social media platforms and video content requirements is a plus. ✳Knowledge of color grading and motion graphics is an advantage. Preferred Experience: 2–4 years of experience in video production, filmmaking, or a related field. Experience producing content for digital marketing, social media campaigns, or advertising.
