Videographer - Summer Student Company: Nirvana Canada Number of Positions: 1 Job Type: Summer Student Position Location: Canada, hybrid, remote, or on-site shoots depending on project needs Apply: Send resume and portfolio/sample work to [Upgrade to PRO to see contact] About Nirvana Canada Nirvana Canada is a digital technology and marketing company that helps businesses create strong online brands through websites, social media, SEO, digital advertising, creative design, and video content.   Position Summary We are looking for a creative Videographer Summer Student to support video planning, filming, editing, and content production for websites, social media, digital campaigns, promotional materials, and client marketing projects.   Key Responsibilities · Assist in planning and producing video content for social media, websites, campaigns, and client projects · Film short-form videos, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, product or service clips, office content, and promotional visuals · Edit videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook, and websites · Add captions, transitions, music, logos, branding elements, and call-to-action screens · Help prepare video concepts, shot lists, scripts, storyboards, and content plans · Coordinate with social media, design, and marketing team members · Format videos correctly for different platforms, screen sizes, and campaign requirements · Organize raw footage, project files, exports, audio files, and creative assets · Support basic photography or visual content capture where needed · Ensure video content follows brand guidelines and client requirements   Required Skills · Interest in video production, storytelling, content creation, and digital marketing · Basic experience filming and editing video content · Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Canva, or similar tools · Good eye for framing, lighting, audio, composition, and visual storytelling · Ability to follow creative direction and revise edits based on feedback · Strong attention to detail, file organization, and time management skills   Assets · Portfolio of school, personal, freelance, or volunteer video work · Experience creating reels, promotional videos, interviews, event videos, or brand videos · Basic knowledge of photography, audio recording, lighting, motion graphics, or animation · Familiarity with social media video trends and short-form content   Eligibility This is a summer student position.
