I’m #hiring a Senior Visual Designer—and to be blunt, I’m not looking for someone to just “help out.”
I’m looking for someone who wants real consequence.
Because the work isn’t decoration.
It’s the difference between:
— a lead leaning in vs. bouncing
— a message landing vs. getting “meh’d”
— a campaign feeling clear vs. feeling complicated
This role owns the visual layer across web + content + motion.
It needs craft. It needs judgment. It needs backbone.
If leads don’t get it fast, they don’t get it at all.
And if you need perfect briefs to start, this isn't for you.
One week you’ll build social templates that sharpen the story at scale. The next you’ll ship a motion explainer that makes the product click.
What I’m actually hiring for:
1) Translator energy (complex → obvious choice)
You can take the ICP’s messy reality—and make our solution feel inevitable.
2) Systems over one-offs
You don’t just design assets—you build libraries: templates, components, illustration language, motion patterns.
3) Taste + speed
High bar, fast cycles. You know what to cut, what to sharpen, and when to ship.
4) Range (web / decks / motion)
You can move between formats without losing the story—or the standard.
5) Performance-minded design
You care what happens after it ships: clarity, engagement, conversion. Not vibes-only.
How we’ll work together (my side of the contract):
You’ll get clarity, autonomy, and air cover—plus fast feedback and direct creative direction. Pushback is welcome. I want a partner with taste, not a pair of hands.
This role is hybrid and open in Scottsdale, Lehi, and the Bay Area.
If this sounds like your kind of responsibility (and your kind of support), DM me a portfolio—or tag someone who should see this.
