Experienced YouTube Scriptwriter Needed β Freelance/Project-Based
We're looking for a skilled YouTube scriptwriter who's written scripts across different niches and formats. Whether it's explainer videos, storytelling, listicles, documentary-style, long-form, or creative writing, you should be comfortable adapting your writing to what the video needs. The content should be thoroughly researched by avoiding any AI tools for writing or refining the content, except Grammarly premium for grammatical fixes.
Your experience should include:
* Writing scripts for YouTube channels in multiple niches (tech, business, lifestyle, real estate, finance, health, entertainment, etc.)
* Understanding what makes a video perform: pacing, structure, CTAs, retention hooks
* Adapting tone and style based on the channel's voice and target audience
* Writing intros that grab attention in the first 5 seconds
* Crafting scripts that sound conversational, not robotic or overly formal
* Have prior experience in writing scripts for YouTube channels
What this role looks like: This is freelance, project-based work. You'll be given a brief, topic, or concept, and you'll turn that into a polished, ready-to-record script. Some projects might be one-offs, others could be ongoing if we work well together.
How we'll decide on pay: We'll start with a short trial task to see how you write and how well we collaborate. Based on that, we'll discuss rates for future projects. Fair compensation for good work, but we need to see what you can do first.
To apply: Send over a few samples of scripts you've written (different niches or formats if possible) and a quick note about your experience. If you've worked on videos that actually went live, even better. Share links if you can.
Looking forward to working with someone who gets it.
