UX Content Strategist (English) Location: Hangzhou, China (Onsite) Position Type: Contractor

We are seeking an experienced UX Content Strategist (English) to join a leading e-commerce platform in Hangzhou, China. You will shape language that guides buyers and suppliers—crafting clear, purposeful product content to build trust and enable seamless interactions. Collaborating with product, design, and research teams, you will define content strategies, create in-product language, and ensure clarity across touchpoints. You will also partner with localization and AI teams to enhance content scalability and global relevance. Ideal Candidate: 1. Native English speaker with effective communication skills in Chinese. 2. Experienced in digital product content, adaptable, and collaborative. 3.Curious about AI’s role in user experience and skilled in balancing human judgment with smart tools.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, write, edit, and test in-product language for seamless user experiences. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies that improve efficiency and trust. 3. Partner with localization teams to ensure content is globally scalable across 18+ languages. 4. Leverage AI tools for structured content creation while maintaining quality through human oversight. 5. Contribute to content reviews, feedback, and internal best practices.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Linguistics, HCI, or related field. 2. 3–5 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or related roles (e-commerce/SaaS preferred). 3. Native English proficiency; effective verbal/written Chinese skills. 4. Ability to simplify complex concepts for global audiences. Experience with cross-functional collaboration and design tools (e.g., Figma). 5. Curiosity about AI-driven experiences and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
