Japanese Translator / Interpreter (Min. JLPT N2)

JOB DETAILS This Fixed Term role focuses on ensuring seamless communication between Japanese-speaking and non-Japanese-speaking teams. The translator/interpreter will handle live interpretation and document translation with cultural precision and confidentiality. • Provide real-time interpretation for meetings, conferences, and events • Translate documents, emails, reports, and presentations between Japanese and English • Ensure translations retain accurate tone, meaning, and cultural nuance • Use tools such as Amazon Translate for technical accuracy • Proofread and maintain consistency across all translated materials

REQUIREMENTS • JLPT N2 or higher certification • Fluency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal) • Proficiency in translation tools such as Amazon Translate • Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

NICE TO HAVE • Prior experience in professional translation or interpretation • Deep understanding of Japanese culture and international business etiquette • Experience proofreading and editing translated content
