This role is ideal for someone who enjoys breaking things systematically, automating repetitive work, and preventing defects before they reach customers.​ Key Responsibilities ⚙️ Design, execute, and maintain test cases for web and API‑based applications (functional, regression, integration). 🧪 Build, run, and optimize automated test suites using modern test automation frameworks. 🪲 Log, track, and verify defects with clear steps, impact, and priority using standard bug‑tracking tools. 🔗 Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to embed quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.​ 📊 Contribute to test plans, coverage reports, and quality metrics to support release decisions. Must‑Have Skills 🛠️ 4–8 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation) in web or SaaS products.​ 🎯 Strong knowledge of test design techniques, defect life cycle, and SDLC/STLC. ⚡ Hands‑on with at least one automation stack (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) and API testing tools (Postman/RestAssured).​ 📂 Experience with Git‑based workflows and standard test management/bug tracking tools (Jira or similar). 💬 Excellent communication skills and comfort working in Agile Scrum/Kanban teams.
