French Technical Writer Job

🚀 We’re Hiring: Technical Writer (Hybrid – Toronto, ON) 📅 Closing Date: August 13, 2025, 9:00 a.m.  📍 Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote  💼 Contract Position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for cloud architecture, large-scale applications, and enterprise solutions. This role blends hands-on collaboration with subject matter experts and independent documentation development, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and usability for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities Create professional technical project and user documentation, including operational procedures, quick start guides, and administrative/configuration manuals. Develop glossaries, terms, and definitions to support clarity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, architecture, business, testing). Ensure documentation aligns with product functionality and meets industry/government standards. Prepare conceptual, logical, and physical process documents. Support online documentation publishing and maintain accessibility compliance (AODA).

Must-Have Skills Strong knowledge & experience documenting Azure cloud architecture and infrastructure design, including networking, firewall, storage, backup, and disaster recovery. Proven experience creating/editing technical project documents including architecture artefacts. Skilled in Power Designer, Microsoft Visio, UML, and/or Adobe Technical Communication Suite.

Nice-to-Have Skills Experience publishing content on websites. Proficiency in French. Strong interviewing/listening skills to gather accurate technical details. Public sector experience.
