Now Hiring – Technical Writer (SOP Development) | 6-Month Contract | 100% Onsite – Las Vegas, NV FusionHCR is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join a leading casino/hospitality client’s Information Security team. This role focuses on refining and finalizing approximately 200 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)—ensuring they are clear, accurate, and easy to follow for both interns and technical engineers. What You’ll Do Review, edit, and finalize SOPs for clarity, accuracy, and ease of understanding. Create step-by-step documentation that enables automation with minimal follow-up. Collaborate with engineers & SMEs to translate complex technical processes into clear instructions. Maintain consistent formatting, grammar, and style across all documentation. Identify gaps in content and revise to ensure completeness and usability. What You Bring 5+ years of experience in technical writing with a focus on SOPs or user manuals. Strong attention to detail, formatting, and grammatical standards. Ability to communicate complex concepts simply for varied audiences. Proficiency with MS Word, Confluence, or MadCap Flare. Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred: Experience in casino/hospitality, Information Security, or similar technical environments.
