About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team at 2Brains, a technology consulting firm. This role focuses on designing, building, and scaling robust APIs and data-driven services to support digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain applications and services using software engineering best practices
- →Participate in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups and sprint planning
- →Collaborate with business experts, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders
- →Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following quality standards
- →Design and implement unit, integration, and contract tests
- →Work with infrastructure and delivery teams for efficient CI/CD pipelines
- →Deploy cloud solutions considering scalability, security, and resilience
- →Monitor production performance and resolve incidents
- →Document technical solutions and share knowledge
Requirements
- ✓Experience developing secure REST APIs with API Security best practices
- ✓Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building robust backend services
- ✓Experience with SQL databases, including modeling and efficient queries
- ✓Application of Design Patterns and SOLID principles for software design
- ✓Git version control in collaborative development environments
- ✓Experience with automated testing for software quality
- ✓Knowledge of secure data handling throughout the development lifecycle
