About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A to join the Finance team at 2U, the parent company of edX. This role will provide strategic financial leadership and analytical support to stakeholders across the organization, helping to make learning limitless.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support quarterly forecasting, annual operating planning, and long-range strategic planning processes
- →Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting by maintaining alignment across planning tools
- →Perform ad hoc reporting and financial deep dives to respond to urgent business questions
- →Lead the development of complex financial models and decision-support analyses for strategic initiatives
- →Evaluate performance trends, assess risks and opportunities, and deliver actionable insights
- →Serve as a finance point of contact for strategic initiatives, coordinating with teams across the business
- →Translate financial insights into clear narratives that support stakeholder understanding
- →Collaborate on presentations and materials for executive audiences and project steering groups
- →Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency to drive efficiency
- →Track KPIs and performance metrics aligned with company objectives
- →Develop dashboards and executive-level reporting
- →Monitor cost controls and recommend efficiency improvements
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- ✓5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related field
- ✓Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- ✓Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools
- ✓Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- ✓Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
