About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at 6sense. This high-impact role involves building scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant backend systems that drive platform scalability and optimize performance for a global customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable backend systems
- βBuild distributed services capable of handling large-scale datasets and high-throughput workloads
- βOptimize system performance, reliability, and availability across the platform
- βCollaborate with product managers, data teams, and other engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions
- βContribute to architectural decisions and help improve engineering best practices
- βTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production systems
Requirements
- β5+ years of industry experience in software engineering
- βStrong hands-on experience building large-scale distributed systems
- βExperience working with large datasets (tens of millions of documents or more)
- βExperience with in-memory caching systems such as Redis
- βExperience with distributed NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, Cassandra, HBase, or MongoDB
- βProficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Golang or Python
- βAbility to design and work with complex business workflows and high-volume data processing systems
- βStrong problem-solving and debugging skills
