About the Role
Serve as Process Engineer within AbbVie's Technical Operations Function at the North Chicago Manufacturing site. This role involves resolving issues with commercial API products and processes, including introducing new products to the site.
Key Responsibilities
- →Evaluate and integrate engineering advances to improve processes or solve problems
- →Understand business implications of products and processes and identify compatible engineering solutions
- →Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses related to project outcomes
- →Apply scientific knowledge to projects and determine priorities for experiments
- →Mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical direction and feedback
- →Present project results internally and externally
- →Develop productive collaborations across functions
- →Ensure timely project completion with independent experimental design and documentation
Requirements
- ✓Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
- ✓Strong understanding of API products and processes
- ✓Ability to design and execute experiments independently
- ✓Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality standards
- ✓Experience with technical transfers and validation activities
- ✓Ability to mentor and provide technical direction to junior engineers
