About the Role
The Project Manager will lead strategic and large-value capital projects critical to delivering innovative medicines to patients. This role ensures all project objectives are achieved while driving top-tier performance across consultants, engineering firms, and construction contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- →Ensure all project objectives are achieved, including EHS, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and compliance
- →Implement EHS and Engineering Policies and procedures, ensuring compliance
- →Drive EHS performance of all project activities, including construction safety
- →Implement best-in-class design within scope boundaries, consulting with operations stakeholders
- →Manage all phases of project execution
- →Monitor and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans and escalating when required
- →Demonstrate financial acumen, controlling costs and providing monthly LBE and estimates
- →Drive efficiencies through value engineering, alternate options, and scenarios
- →Lead strategic sourcing needs, assisting with contract negotiations and dispute resolution
- →Monitor project progress using KPIs, taking steps to mitigate impacts on schedule, cost, quality, and EHS
- →Foster innovation and idea exchange, integrating novel concepts into projects
- →Communicate effectively with all organizational levels, presenting to steering committees and leadership
Requirements
- ✓Experience leading strategic capital projects in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
- ✓Strong understanding of EHS, engineering policies, and compliance requirements
- ✓Exceptional financial acumen and cost control abilities
- ✓Ability to manage risks and develop mitigation strategies
- ✓Experience with project KPIs and performance measurement
- ✓Excellent communication and presentation skills
- ✓Cross-functional collaboration experience with ME&C and Quality functions
