About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team at Abnormal AI. You will build, operate, and improve the data platform's core systems, including ingestion frameworks, reliability systems, and pipelines across various data sources.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop reusable ingestion frameworks (Python/Airflow/AWS Glue) for APIs and unstructured sources
- →Own the end-to-end Medallion architecture for core domains
- →Implement data observability and lead incident management
- →Help standardize reusable patterns to improve developer productivity
- →Prepare datasets for AI/LLM use cases
Requirements
- ✓3–5+ years of data engineering with strong Python and SQL
- ✓Deep experience in AWS (S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch)
- ✓Proficiency operating Snowflake
- ✓Orchestration experience (Airflow/MWAA)
- ✓CI/CD for data with GitHub Actions
- ✓Solid grasp of Medallion architecture and data quality frameworks
