This is an excellent opportunity for a decisive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to continuous improvement. • Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to the accounting team and payroll staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment • Prepare and assist in the development of monthly financial reports, schedules, and analyses required by senior management • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all accounting entries, charges, and credits across various accounts, maintaining compliance with established accounting standards • Develop and maintain comprehensive expense account schedules and reconciliations on a regular basis • Reconcile all Balance Sheet items with their respective subsidiary ledgers and schedules, ensuring all contra and clearance accounts are properly cleared monthly • Collaborate with leadership to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts that support effective organizational management and goal achievement • Establish, monitor, and enhance internal controls and processes to guarantee timely, accurate financial data and reporting • Review and analyze the impact of changes in laws and government regulations on the organization's accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Indian accounting standards • Produce ad-hoc financial reports and conduct detailed analysis to support the information requirements of senior finance leadership • Record, classify, and summarize accounting transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and best practices • Review, verify, and authorize journal vouchers prepared by cost control, general cashier, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and audit teams • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency
