About the Role

We are seeking a Data Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Achievers. This role involves building backend services that transform data from our SaaS platform into actionable insights for customers, helping to redefine how work gets done.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and maintain backend services that support reporting, analytics, data export, and data-driven product features
→Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver actionable insights and AI-powered features
→Design and implement well-structured APIs for integration with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, and Power BI
→Apply data modeling and transformation techniques to support dimensional analytics and visualizations
→Ensure data quality, governance, privacy, and compliance standards are met
→Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning
→Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
→Research and experiment with new tools, frameworks, and technologies
→Contribute to agile development cycles including sprint planning and retrospectives

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
✓5+ years of backend software engineering experience in enterprise environments
✓Expertise in Systems Design for complex, distributed systems at scale
✓Strong understanding of analytics fundamentals including dimensional data modeling
✓Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and cloud-based data warehousing
✓Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, PHP, or Go
✓Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases
✓Familiarity with streaming or near real-time data ingestion technologies
✓Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration with BI tools
✓Knowledge of data privacy, security, and governance best practices
✓Experience with agile software development methodologies
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
