About the Role
Adyen is seeking an experienced Art Director with a specialized focus in Experiential Design to join our team in Amsterdam. This role will involve conceptualizing, designing, and executing visuals that align with Adyen’s brand guidelines and internal communications strategy, enhancing the overall internal brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as the internal creative lead for large-scale campaigns, providing overall creative direction and visual identity stewardship.
- →Manage external agency and vendor relationships, including briefing, creative steering, and quality assurance on deliverables.
- →Lead the end-to-end design and production of high-stakes presentations, translating complex narratives into compelling visual concepts.
- →Develop brand-based illustrations from concept to finished product, especially icons and complex graphical elements.
- →Manage creative collaboration with production houses to deliver a high volume of print assets.
- →Design holistic, immersive experiences for an audience, blending physical and digital touchpoints.
- →Apply brand strategy and design principles to drive employee engagement, culture, and ambassadorship.
- →Strategically elevate the internal brand’s visual identity across multiple platforms.
- →Provide insights and recommendations to inform design strategy and decision-making processes.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategy into creative solutions.
- →Manage multiple projects concurrently throughout all stages of the design process.
- →Take ownership and accountability for assigned projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- →Proactively address any project-related challenges, proposing creative solutions and managing expectations.
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of professional experience working as an Art Director or Brand Designer.
- ✓Proficiency in Adobe CC, Keynote, Google slides, and Figma.
- ✓Portfolio showcasing expertise in art direction and brand engagement.
- ✓Team player who understands the value of collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
- ✓Ability to self-start, stick to deadlines, and drive projects forward.
- ✓Full professional proficiency in English.
- ✓Some domestic and international travel required.
