About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join Adyen’s global Performance Optimization team. This mid-level role focuses on driving scalable optimizations and advanced analytics to maximize merchant growth.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze large-scale payment datasets to identify performance trends and deliver high-impact recommendations
- →Design and build scalable analytics solutions, automation pipelines, and self-service tools
- →Partner with Product, Data, and Commercial teams to translate business challenges into analytical solutions
- →Lead complex A/B testing and data investigations to shape data-driven strategies
- →Synthesize complex data into compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences
- →Support knowledge-sharing within the Performance Optimization team
Requirements
- ✓3–5 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or similar roles, preferably in fintech or payments
- ✓Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark with hands-on experience in large-scale data processing
- ✓Ability to design and develop efficient ETL and data pipelines using tools like Spark and Airflow
- ✓Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau
- ✓Deep understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, and data mining
- ✓Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- ✓Fluency in Portuguese and English
