About the Role
AECOM is seeking a driven Blast Associate Technical Lead to join our world-class team. This role focuses on providing specialist blast design and support services across diverse markets, including high-rise buildings, petrochemical facilities, and defence.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide expert technical input on blast and protection engineering
- →Lead the design of blast protection provisions, including CFD modelling and structural analysis
- →Oversee production and workload management for blast-related projects
- →Work closely with clients to understand their business practices and goals
- →Undertake detailed assessments of threats, likelihood, and consequences
- →Produce high-quality documentation, including specifications and feasibility studies
- →Manage projects on behalf of clients, including progress reporting
- →Promote best practices in Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E)
Requirements
- ✓Expertise in blast analysis and design
- ✓Experience with CFD modelling and structural analysis
- ✓Strong project management skills
- ✓Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship
- ✓Knowledge of risk and threat assessment
- ✓Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
