About the Role
We are looking for a Design Manager to join our team in Brisbane. This role focuses on leading complex transport and highways design projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes through detailed design phases.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the delivery of complex transport and highways design projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes through detailed design phases.
- →Act as Design Manager across multiple projects or programmes, owning design governance, technical delivery, programme and risk management.
- →Manage packages of work end-to-end, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across ANZ to deliver complex infrastructure projects.
- →Serve as a trusted client advisor, building strong relationships with key stakeholders including TMR, local councils, utilities and developers.
- →Provide technical leadership and design assurance, setting standards, leading gate reviews and acting as verifier on major projects.
- →Support project recovery, independent technical reviews and complex problem solving where required.
- →Contribute to mentoring senior and principal engineers, strengthening AECOM’s transport design capability and supporting strategic bids and project pursuits.
