About the Role
AECOM Spain’s Building Engineering team is seeking an inspirational MEP Design Manager to join our team. This role involves leading the design of MEP systems and ensuring buildings are safe, comfortable, and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and support a multidisciplinary MEP team to deliver high-quality building and infrastructure projects, ensuring client satisfaction and technical excellence.
- →Deliver, review and approve engineering solutions.
- →Act as the key liaison between the client and AECOM, ensuring effective communication and strong, long-term relationships.
- →Ensure project goals are achieved on time and within budget.
- →Plan and schedule project activities in coordination with the Planning Engineer.
- →Identify project changes and support the Project Manager with technical justification.
- →Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other disciplines, such as Architecture and Structural Engineering.
- →Continuously enhance technical expertise within the team and individually.
Requirements
- ✓Expertise in MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, public health, fire protection, and telecom.
- ✓Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM), energy modelling, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
- ✓Strong leadership and project management skills.
- ✓Ability to act as a key liaison between clients and the company.
