About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Archaeologist/Project Manager to join AECOM's Cultural Resources team. This is a core role responsible for executing projects and leading all aspects of project implementation within Arizona and the Western US.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage projects with small- to large-scale field efforts including survey, testing, data recovery, and monitoring
- →Execute archival research, technical report writing, state and federal archaeological permitting, and GIS mapping
- →Supervise personnel in field, office, and laboratory settings
- →Serve as primary point of contact for clients and resource agencies
- →Perform project management duties including forecasting, tracking, accounting updates, and scheduling
- →Review contracts for scope, fee, schedule, and deliverables
Requirements
- ✓Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulatory framework including NEPA and NHPA
- ✓Experience managing intensive schedules and multiple tasks
- ✓Ability to communicate priorities effectively to managers
- ✓Strong technical writing and report preparation skills
- ✓Experience with GIS mapping and data compilation
- ✓Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ✓Willingness to support multiple projects and occasional travel
- ✓Experience with proposal preparation and client management
