About the Role
We are looking for a Design Management Lead to join AECOM's team. This role involves managing design processes, sub-consultants, and design management procedures across the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead Design Management projects across the UK and Internationally
- →Manage AECOM financial process and invoicing
- →Review work outputs from team prior to issue to ensure quality and compliance
- →Prepare responsibility matrix to identify sub-consultant responsibility
- →Draft and distribute sub-consultant back-to-back contracts
- →Manage updates to sub-consultant contracts and prepare final documents
- →Prepare and update cash flow projections
- →Establish procedures for invoice submission for sub-consultants
- →Track and report on the progress of all sub-consultant invoices
- →Prepare design programmes, monitor and report progress
- →Manage deliverables, design quality, budgets, approvals, and design coordination
- →Organize project meetings and design workshops
- →Assist in the development of junior Design Management team members
- →Review work outputs from junior team members
- →Support the Design Management team Leadership
Requirements
- ✓Achieve AECOM PM accreditation
- ✓Take active role in management of design projects
- ✓Experience with AECOM financial systems and processes
- ✓Ability to lead and support Design Management projects internationally
- ✓Experience in mentoring, training, and reviewing junior team members
- ✓Strong understanding of contractual obligations and compliance
- ✓Excellent organizational and leadership skills
