About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior ELV Engineer to join our engineering team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves leading the design and implementation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for various building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and develop comprehensive ELV system specifications for fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, and audio-visual systems
- →Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation using AutoCAD and BIM software
- →Conduct system analysis and feasibility studies to optimize ELV infrastructure performance
- →Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors for seamless integration of ELV systems
- →Review and ensure compliance with UAE building codes and international standards
- →Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- →Prepare technical specifications and tender documentation for ELV system procurement
- →Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning
- →Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes
- →Collaborate with stakeholders to address technical challenges and implement solutions
Requirements
- ✓Proven expertise in designing ELV systems for building projects
- ✓Strong technical background and analytical mindset
- ✓Experience with AutoCAD, BIM software, and industry-standard design tools
- ✓Knowledge of UAE building codes, ADNOC standards, ESTIDAMA requirements, and international electrical safety regulations
- ✓Project management skills with ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources
- ✓Experience in preparing technical specifications and tender documentation
- ✓Ability to conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning
- ✓Experience mentoring junior engineers and improving design processes
