About the Role
AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Coordinator/Deputy Project Manager to join their Environmental Planning & Permitting group in southern California. This role will support industry-leading projects across various client sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as Environmental Compliance Coordinator/Deputy Project Manager on multiple projects
- →Review and interpret project plans and permits
- →Schedule and staff surveyors, monitors, and technical experts
- →Coordinate compliance with clients, contractors, and resource agencies
- →Prepare and provide senior review of technical memorandums and environmental permitting documents
- →Support Project Manager in deputy project management functions
- →Travel occasionally for field visits to project sites
Requirements
- ✓Experience with California environmental compliance and ecology
- ✓Ability to oversee and implement environmental compliance disciplines including natural resources, cultural, paleontological, hazardous materials, stormwater monitoring, and air quality
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Experience with complex, large-scale projects
- ✓Ability to manage budgets, track schedules, and review invoices
- ✓Team oversight and administrative task management experience
