About the Role
AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager to support gas utility projects and clients throughout southern California. This role involves managing environmental compliance implementation, coordinating with clients and contractors, and preparing technical reports.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as an Environmental Compliance Manager on single or multiple projects
- →Review and interpret project plans and permits
- →Manage and oversee environmental compliance implementation in the field
- →Coordinate with clients, contractors, and resource agencies
- →Collaborate with surveyors, monitors, and technical experts
- →Prepare and review compliance reports
- →Collaborate with clients, construction contractors, and internal staff on complex projects
- →Prepare and provide senior review of technical memorandums and environmental permitting documents
- →Interface with AECOM and client project managers
Requirements
- ✓Experience in environmental compliance management
- ✓Knowledge of project plans, permits, and environmental documents
- ✓Strong coordination and communication skills
- ✓Ability to manage complex projects involving biological, cultural, and paleontological resource protection
- ✓Experience with species surveys, environmental permitting, mitigation, noise abatement, hazardous materials, and air quality
- ✓Familiarity with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs)
- ✓Excellent communication skills and professionalism
