About the Role
AECOM is seeking a creative and highly talented Transportation Planning Engineer for immediate employment in Texas. This position involves engaging in a variety of planning work including NEPA/SEPA, multimodal planning, sustainability, and advanced transportation planning.
Key Responsibilities
- →Oversee projects, manage tasks, and collaborate with project teams in the development of multimodal transportation plans.
- →Act as a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients, both internally and externally.
- →Lead project teams by assigning and monitoring work progress, mentoring colleagues, and conducting quality assurance reviews.
- →Collect and analyze transportation data to support project decision-making.
- →Conduct stakeholder outreach and public involvement efforts.
- →Develop and evaluate alternative conceptual designs.
- →Collaborate with the local area Business Development Team and Senior Management in project pursuits and delivery.
Requirements
- ✓Skilled and experienced in transportation planning and preliminary engineering.
- ✓Ability to manage tasks and collaborate with project teams.
- ✓Experience with feasibility studies, corridor studies, and long-range transportation plans.
- ✓Knowledge of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents/studies.
- ✓Strong leadership and communication skills.
- ✓Ability to mentor colleagues and conduct quality assurance reviews.
- ✓Experience with innovative planning processes and deliverable generation.
