About the Role
We are seeking a Substation Engineer to join our team. This role involves technical discussions with clients and internal teams, ensuring delivery of substation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- →Take ownership for substation technical discussions with the client and internal multi-disciplinary teams
- →Take ownership of technical delivery with engineering teams
- →Develop specifications or detailed designs for substation control systems, transformers, GIS, and AIS switchgear
- →Utilize knowledge of substation project/asset life cycle from a design perspective
- →Design Primary plant layouts for substations
- →Develop equipment specifications for HV Plant and associated equipment
- →Serve as Owners’ Engineer on HV substation/grid integration design projects
- →Build client relationships and understand client requirements
- →Demonstrate commercial awareness in proposal development and project cost management
Requirements
- ✓Experience with substation control systems, transformers, GIS, and AIS switchgear
- ✓Knowledge of HV Plant and associated equipment
- ✓Ability to design Primary plant layouts for substations
- ✓Experience as an Owners’ Engineer on HV substation projects
- ✓Strong client relationship building skills
- ✓Commercial awareness and project cost management skills
