About the Role

We are looking for an Operational Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team at Aevi. This role involves supporting a critical platform ecosystem in a dynamic FinTech environment, with a focus on troubleshooting and maintaining hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop understanding of troubleshooting and triaging of hybrid cloud (AWS) infrastructure
→Work a 24x7 shift pattern comprising of 2 days followed by 2 nights and 4 days off
→Provide monitoring and alerting against critical service architecture
→Invoke the incident management process
→Develop understanding of the interdependencies of the platform
→Drive incidents to mitigation
→Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate productivity
→Contribute to documentation evolution

Requirements

✓Foundational computer science knowledge
✓Willingness to develop an understanding of customer-centric decision making
✓Awareness of tools such as GIT, Grafana, Bitbucket, WildFly, Java, Docker, Zabbix, and Newrelic
✓Developing relevant practical programming skills (Python, Bash scripting)
✓Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
✓Ability to develop knowledge through workshops, SOPs, and runbooks
✓Collaborative team ethic
