About the Role
We are looking for an ML Engineer to join Agile Defense and support our contract with the DRAID CDAO ADA IR Program. This role involves securing and scaling data architectures and AI/ML pipelines to unlock the value of structured and unstructured data for national defense priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build scalable data & ML infrastructure using Databricks and Apache Spark
- →Develop automated data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- →Create robust ETL/ELT workflows for batch and streaming data
- →Implement MLOps best practices including automated model training and deployment
- →Design scalable ML inference systems for high-volume, low-latency predictions
- →Design and maintain data models that support machine learning workloads
- →Implement data governance standards and metadata management systems
- →Build integrations with enterprise systems like MAVEN Smart Systems
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of technical experience, including 3+ years building production data pipelines
- ✓Strong data engineering skills in Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL
- ✓Experience with medallion architecture and modern data platform patterns
- ✓Production ML systems experience including model deployment and monitoring
- ✓Data architecture expertise with experience designing scalable data processing systems
- ✓Experience integrating with platforms such as Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI, or MAVEN Smart System
