About the Role
We are looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to join Airbnb's dynamic team in Japan. This role focuses on shaping Airbnb's growth narrative in the Japanese market through innovative, data-driven marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and execute growth marketing strategies tailored to resonate with local cultures and market conditions in Japan.
- →Lead cross-functional projects, building strong relationships with regional and global teams to deliver measurable business impact.
- →Partner with Regional Marketing, Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Creative teams to align on priorities and lead the planning and execution of growth marketing initiatives.
- →Provide actionable insights, clear reporting, and thoughtful recommendations to guide strategic decisions in regional leadership reviews.
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of relevant work experience in Growth Marketing (Search, CRM, Display, and Affiliate) with a proven track record of scaling business for B2C brands in fast-paced, global environments.
- ✓Deep understanding of the Japan market, consumer trends, and digital behaviors, with experience tailoring strategies for Japan and working with local agencies and platforms.
- ✓Expertise in leveraging data to prioritize opportunities, drive decision-making, and measure business impact.
- ✓Proven ability to influence and drive product conversations with engineering, design, creative, and data science partners.
- ✓Highly organized self-starter with experience managing complex projects from strategy to execution.
- ✓Exceptional communicator who builds trust and alignment with senior leadership, peers, and global teams.
- ✓Relentless focus on outcomes, with a track record of delivering against ambitious goals through innovation, iteration, and hands-on execution.
- ✓Familiarity with marketing automation, analytics tools, and digital platforms; able to translate business needs into technical requirements.
