About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join Airbnb's Matching and Connection team within Hosting Services. This role focuses on building new tools and user journeys to improve the hosting ecosystem, specifically around co-hosting functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own key company level problem statements and drive critical projects
- →Lead the scoping phase, technical requirements and implementation of new functionality
- →Architect and implement complex features, focusing on data-driven decision making and performance optimizations
- →Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners across Hosting Services
- →Help define and improve coding standards, development processes and best practices
- →Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Requirements
- ✓6+ years industry experience
- ✓Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in CS or equivalent experience
- ✓Experience in building and scaling high-quality products with a focus on operational excellence
- ✓Strong collaboration with colleagues across multiple timezones
- ✓Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions
- ✓Ability to drive alignment, manage projects and effectively collaborate with stakeholders
- ✓Fluency in HTML, CSS, Typescript, React and related web technologies
- ✓Strong communication and organizational skills
