You will play a leading role in building world-class search experiences for millions of Airbnb users. This position involves solving architectural, performance, and scalability challenges while working with our codebase and guiding engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide early directional feedback to stakeholders on technical scope and feasibility of complex features
- →Prototype new features to collect feedback and iterate with design and product partners
- →Conduct data-informed experiments to iterate on the product
- →Identify areas of codebase for architectural improvements and drive proposals
- →Deliver technical design or implementation of key foundational initiatives
- →Review technical designs or code reviews from partner engineering teams
- →Mentor and support the career growth of team members
Requirements
- ✓10+ years experience developing web applications at scale
- ✓Expertise in building and maintaining performant consumer web applications
- ✓Strong frontend development skills with depth in architecture and component design
- ✓Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
