About the Role
We are seeking Engineering Managers to join our Enterprise engineering pillar at Airtable, focused on scaling product experiences for our biggest customers. This role involves leading teams that build systems for security and governance of customer data.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead, manage, and grow a team of high-functioning engineers responsible for systems and frameworks
- →Partner with engineering leaders to drive technical decisions and initiatives
- →Nurture a team of passionate and capable engineers, coaching both senior and early-career engineers
- →Partner with cross-functional peers including product and design to develop and execute strategy
- →Implement processes to help the team scale and be productive while maintaining agility
Requirements
- ✓5+ years experience as an engineer (previously in a staff or TL level IC position) and 2+ years as a manager
- ✓Strong customer focus and experience working with Product Managers
- ✓Experience with navigating large, complex systems
- ✓Experience leading high performing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Experience in growing and mentoring engineers
- ✓Experience in managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects and work streams
